A MAJOR drug ring was uncovered after the arrest of a man who claimed to be a psychic healer.
Brian McTaggart, 56, who also claims to be an exorcist, collected and delivered drugs to a network of 20 dealers.
Following his arrest, detectives found computer "tick lists" of drug deals going back years that are understood to have been worth £22million.
McTaggart admitted supplying cocaine, ecstasy and amphetamine from his home in Carfin, Lanarkshire, between January 2005 and last May.
John Halley, prosecuting, said McTaggart confessed to receiving £300 a week for collecting and delivering drugs.
Unemployed McTaggart had a £35,000 BMW, was paying off debts of £400 a month and was investing £580 a month in a savings account.
Three of the low-level dealers he supplied - Alexander Morgan, 37, of Stenhousemuir, Elizabeth Sinclair, 24, of Larbert, and Derek Walton, also of Larbert - also admitted drug charges yesterday.
The judge, Lord Brailsford, called for reports on all four at the High Court in Glasgow.

The Coulsdon Scout Group is holding an evening of clairvoyance to raise money to send one of its members to an international meeting in August.
Mediums Ivan Lee and Shirley Monaco will be at the group's headquarters - Richmond Hall, at the back of the Lion Green Road car park - on Saturday, February 17, at 7.30pm.
The group wants to raise £1,000 to send 17-year-old Alexander Woods to the World Scout Jamboree later this year.

With country music the theme, Bucky should sail through this week. But he suffers from two fatal flaws: a weak voice and a small fan base. We predict this real good man will take no country comfort in being outsung by his fellow contestants in his area of expertise.

Second lowest: Ace Young. As we all know, Ace is scarred. No, not on his chest, but psychologically. He has never recovered from his first trip to the Bottom Three, and his return there last week will only undermine his self-confidence even more. It's even begun to affect his good looks.Third lowest: Mandisa. I wanna praise you for some of your past performances, but Mandisa, your ultimate downfall will be your inconsistency. One week great, the next mediocre; weak on low notes, you tend to scream on high ones. Tonight's performance could cook your goose.-Ronnie GillLowest number of votes: Ace Young. Doing "Drops of Jupiter" last week, Ace sounded as though he was from another planet. We can only imagine that whatever bit of country he tries tonight might get him deported. Now the pair has joined forces again in a desperate search for one of the dogs which went missing three weeks ago.
They have called in a search chopper, consulted three psychics and offered a $1000 reward for the safe return of their beloved "child" - five-year-old Sugar.
The distinctive tan and white coloured Beagle was given to the couple after their first pup, Buddy, died from a venomous snake bite in Sydney.

The ex-Beatle, who was murdered over 25 years ago, is the latest subject of a pay-per-view seance arranged by the producers of a 2003 attempt to contact the dead Princess Diana.
That show made money but was slammed by critics as hitting a new low in television tastelessness.
"People say this is disgusting and I accept that criticism, but we're making a serious attempt to do something that many, many millions of people around the world think is possible," said Paul Sharratt, who heads Starcast Productions, which made "The Spirit of Diana."
That show drew over half a million US viewers willing to pay $14.95 to watch it.
The Lennon show will air on April 24 on a pay-per-view channel and cost $9.95.
Sharratt himself is a "non-believer," and admits to not being totally convinced otherwise after psychics attempted to contact the dead princess in the 2003 program. Nevertheless, it made for some great television, he said.
"I have to say that I'm a skeptic. I went into it very skeptically and I didn't come out a total believer, but it was good for a lot of people as a tribute to Diana," he said.
Sharratt said he chose Lennon because the former Beatle, like Diana, is an icon and was also a deeply spiritual person.
"Lennon was very interested in the spiritual world. It's a natural follow-up to the Diana seance," he said.
"The Spirit of John Lennon" is being done without the knowledge or consent of John Lennon's estate. A spokesman for Yoko Ono, Lennon's widow, had no immediate comment.
Sharratt said, "We are writing to Yoko and contacting friends this week to see if any people associated with Lennon would take part."
The program will show psychics travelling to sites of significance to the former Beatle, including New York's Dakota apartment house, where he lived and was fatally shot by a deranged fan, Mark David Chapman, just over 25 years ago.
Psychics will also visit the Capitol Records Building in Los Angeles where the Beatles recorded, and a town in India where Lennon pursued a spiritual retreat.
Sharratt said the Indian sequence will feature a spirit reader at an ashram who believes he can contact Lennon to receive musical notes and lyrics from the other side.
Any notations will be flown to Los Angeles, where a composer will arrange the notes, add vocals and backgrounds to produce a new song.
The special will culminate as psychics, colleagues and confidantes sit at a seance table for 30 minutes surrounded by infra-red cameras that can capture any "presence" or spirit that enters the room.

A pet detective, psychics, and a big reward

NEW YORK – They have brought in scent-tracking hounds, offered a $5,000 reward, handed out fliers around New York, brought in a pet detective, checked out tips from psychics, even analyzed a pile of dog droppings for clues.
But so far, the owners of Vivi, a show dog that bolted from her crate at Kennedy Airport on Feb. 15 after competing at the Westminster Kennel Club show, have yet to track down their beloved whippet.
Paul Lepiane remains optimistic that the dog can still be found, saying the search team is hot on her trail.
“We've never been this close,” said Lepiane, who on Wednesday received a call that Vivi was spotted in a park in Queens – one of several recent sightings in the area.
The plight of the purebred from sunny Southern California lost in rough-and-tumble New York City in the middle of winter has captured the attention of people around the country. Vivi is valued at $15,000 to $20,000 and won an award at Westminster.
“People feel nationwide that they're involved,” said Karin Goin, a pet detective who joined the case from Oklahoma. “People who have never met Vivi, never been in New York City.”
Well over 100 people have helped look for Vivi, Lepiane said. And a weekend party at a hotel nightclub raised $8,000 for the search. Advice and offers have poured in – including tips from 30 psychics, some of which the search team pursued.
“We were trying everything,” Lepiane said, adding that he was happy the psychics believed Vivi was alive.
Whippets can sprint up to 40 mph and can be more nomadic than other dogs, making the search more difficult, Lepiane said. He said his biggest worry is that someone will chase her and she will get scared and dart into big-city traffic.
Goin, who is trained as a private investigator and search-and-rescue dog handler, traveled to New York last week with two tracking dogs. The dogs picked up Vivi's scent at the airport, suggesting she was still in the area, and the search team set out as bait hot dogs surrounded by sand that would show Vivi's footprints.
Then, over the weekend, the efforts moved north of the airport when a caller led the team to Flushing and the dogs traced the scent to a garage containing open bags of dog food, Goin said.
The team assembled objects that would be familiar to Vivi – a towel that had been in her mother's crate, a shirt worn by one of her owners, her water dish – and put them in the garage in hopes they would attract the dog.
Lepiane then spent Sunday night camped out at the garage and Monday night at a Queens apartment building where another caller claimed to have seen Vivi.
“We've had so many sightings, and then I go there, and she's moved on,” said Lepiane.
At one point in the search, dog droppings consistent with those of the whippet were found behind an airport cargo building.
Lepiane went home to California on Tuesday night but said he would catch a flight back to the city at the first word that Vivi was caught.
